What's great: Forget megapixels -- The new camera buzzword is "aperture," or the size of the opening that lets light pass through the lens.
A low aperture number means you can take great shots in dim light; the Canon's widest lens aperture is 2.0, far below the average camera's 2.8. The S95 is also super-lightweight and captures accurate colors.
What's not: You can't zoom when shooting v.. more

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- For Don Kilgore, the road to riches is paved in gold and a little silver, too.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Small businesses continue to add jobs, but the pace of hiring seems to be flattening.
Five months ago, the sector started picking up, adding over 100,000 jobs in December and January, according to data, compiled by ADP, a payroll processor.

During that month, businesses with fewer than 50 employees added .. more

To get to that number, the company includes the federal and state gasoline taxes that the company collects from dri.. more
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Dear Corporate America,
Friday's jobs report better be very good or you will have a lot of Ricky Ricardo-esque explaining to do. Economists surveyed by CNNMoney expect a job gain of 200,000 from the private sector in April.
Call me greedy. But it would be really nice if that number was north of 250,000.
Yes, commodity costs may still be a wild card. But it's time to stop .. more
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Aljolynn Sperber, a single mom in Los Angeles, says she can no longer afford to visit her family in Sacramento because of the cost of fuel.
"If I fly or drive it's expensive either way," she said of visiting her relatives 400 miles away, who she has not seen in six months. As a result, "I manage all on my own," Sperber says, "but with a toddler it's hard."
Like Sperber, th.. more

These are just some of the changes banks have made -- or threatened to make -- in recent months.
Why? Because consumers are quickly becoming colla.. more
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Yes, we are in a tech bubble again -- but only dumb money will lose this time around. That's what 39% of attendees said in a pop poll at the Wired Business Conference in New York City on Tuesday.
